State Fair of Texas 2012
The State Fair of Texas is scheduled to open at 10 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 28 and runs through Oct. 21. In addition to the great food and fun activities, you might also enjoy the Garden Show and informative gardening sessions from the experts during one of the Southern Living Speaker Series sessions. Barbara Dybala. I am one of twenty artist chosen to exhibit at the State Fair. My mosaic this year’s is a 5 ft yellow swallow tail mosaic butterfly. It is on exhibition across from the aquarium. The butterfly is build from a steel plate with wedi board as a substrate between the smalti glass and steel. FYI, there is a very nice ladies room next to my butterfly!
So, please, take and send a photo of yourself with the butterfly! I will post it on Facebook, and send it to the garden club for posting.
What fun, State Fair of Texas, Big and Bright 2012. See the Chinese exhibit, full of garden and pond color. Most of it is silk stretched over wirer base. Amazing, so firer cracker bright.

Thanks for posting the State Fair link. Going tomorrow and found under the discount section we can get in for $6 with a coke product.
