Summer Symposium/Pot Luck Dinner – 08/12/14

The last symposium for the summer will be Tuesday, August 12th,  at 6:00 p.m. in  the Cafetorium at the old Sunnyvale Elementary School, 416 Tripp.   The program will start with potluck dinner and fellowship at 6:00 p.m.  After the meal, you can start on your craft.  There are lots of glassware left over from the  June symposium, so we will make glass plate flowers and totems again.  Make several for your yard or porch.  They make great gifts too!!  Also, there are some wine bottles that have drilled holes (for lights).  If you want to decorate a wine bottle with colored gems, you can do that, too.

All the supplies you need will be provided, so come,  get creative and bring a friend!!!

Summer Symposium/Pot Luck Dinner – July 7, 2014 – 6:00PM

Our next summer symposium and “pot luck dinner” is scheduled for Tuesday, July 8th, 6:00 p.m. at 417 E. Tripp Rd. (the old elementary school).  We will eat before we start our project, so bring one of your favorite dish and a big appetite!

Instead of throwing glass wine bottles in the recycle bin, Rachel will be showing us how to use them to make beautiful accent lamps.  (see attached file).

Please RSVP to Rachel Doyle (rachel.doyle@att.net) if you plan on attending the symposium.  She has to drill a hole in each bottle for the lights and doesn’t want to drill extras if they are not needed.

Don’t miss the opportunity to have some summer fun, eat delicious food, and fellowship with good friends.
